Visual identity for a newly established initiative to advance mental health and well-being at Princeton University
A holistic approach to wellness and self-compassion
In a highly competitive social and academic setting, Princeton University’s TigerWell Initiative promotes and coordinates a proactive approach to mental health and well-being. The initiative engages student, staff, and faculty partners in cultivating an inclusive and supportive campus community. Isometric worked to amplify this mission through strategic and thoughtful design, advancing a culture of self and community care. As the college experience has become increasingly isolating during the pandemic, the design deploys custom illustrations to envision new forms of gathering, mindfulness, and collaboration.
Communicating a Community of Care
The new visual system—including logo, typography, colors, illustrations, and photography—all work to communicate the goals of the new initiative. They do so by challenging and reimagining what health care communications look like and how a vibrant, thriving college community is represented. The visual approach authentically recognizes the pressures faced by contemporary college students and helps chart a deeper and more meaningful approach to success and achievement.
